Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Shiplog, we strive to build the most efficient workspace for thinkers and builders. We want you to be fully satisfied with our platform. Because billing, global tax compliance, and payment security are managed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, all applicable refunds and financial transactions are processed directly through their gateway in accordance with the following comprehensive terms.
1. Subscription Plans (Monthly & Yearly)
Our subscription models are designed to give you continuous access to AI-powered insights and build tools.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard. There are no cancellation fees or hidden penalties for stopping your service.
- Access After Cancellation: Upon cancellation, your account will remain active and you will retain full access to your paid features (such as AI analyses and Build Mode passes) until the exact end date of your current billing cycle.
- No Partial Refunds: Except as required by law or in cases of documented technical failure on our part, we do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods or unused time within an active subscription cycle once it has been billed.
2. Refund Eligibility & Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that mistakes happen. You may be eligible for a full refund under the following specific conditions:
- Double Billing: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same subscription period due to a system error.
- Technical Failure: If Shiplog was significantly inaccessible or non-functional for an extended period (greater than 48 hours) and we were unable to resolve the issue promptly.
- Accidental Renewal: If you intended to cancel but were charged for a renewal, and you notify us within 48 hours of the charge, provided you have not used any paid AI credits or Build Mode features during the new period.
3. Trials and Free Tier
Shiplog offers a robust Free Tier that allows you to experience the core value of the platform without any financial commitment. We encourage all users to explore the free features before upgrading to a paid plan. Because of this accessible free tier, we do not typically offer separate time-limited trials for our paid plans.
4. Processing Refunds
Once a refund is approved by Shiplog support and initiated through Dodo Payments, it typically takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your original payment method. This timeline is determined by your bank or credit card provider and is outside of our direct control.
